…These Decision 50 fools undertake these peace initiatives as the products of the kibbutz who grew up in these hothouses of socialist nonsense divorced from the world. Nowhere in their dream of peace is there a price. How much is it going to cost to transfer a half-million Jews to new homes? Will they first have to live in displaced persons refugee camps? And where will these be located? These post-Jewish nincompoops, like Shimon Peres, have their heads in the clouds. Three months after the horror of watching Rabin and Peres on the White House Lawn shake hands with Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas, Peres published his book The New Middle East, which was an embarrassment even then. In it were Shimon’s beautiful visions of a new Middle East in which the borders were open as in the European Union, and all the peoples would travel to one’s others countries as friendly tourists and businessmen. It was cotton candy for the mind. There have been statesmen and politicians who have written books of distinction: Churchill, Acheson, Ulysses S. Grant, Teddy Roosevelt, vs. Uncle Shimon, the Visionary, he was called. I prefer delusionist… |
