I find this a simply cracked vision of reality starting with a profound ignorance of Iran and the Middle East in general. It is these hardliners who are the government, the dictatorship. This is a not faction unrepresentative of the all Iranians.

Virtually all Islamic, Middle Eastern are unrepresentative of the people. They family, gang-like cliques, in Iran’s case of priests. It does not matter what the people think. It does not matter that most Iranians don’t chant “Death to America.” What matters is the regime in power and that is who organizes these massive rallies. Or does Obama think that these massive rallies of Muslim males chanting “Death to America” are not organized by the regime but NGOS, non-government organizations, community organizers?

On what planet is this man living? In this man’s mind yesterday was the image of an Iran in which the hardliners are opposed to this deal when it is the hardliners who made the deal. From Khameini on down. This split in his mind between hardliners and those who made the deal has no basis in the truth of the situation.
